150l/min 12v compressors on ebay
Hi all
i need to get a compressor to pump up my tyres after 4wheeling and found these on ebay,
I'd like to order one today but a little confused as to which one to get.
Just wondering if anyone know if there's any difference between the
150l/min 12v compressors on ebay.
They range from $100 - $160 and look the same to me.
Are these basically the same with different packaging??
Examples
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/12V-150L-MIN-...item2559b39384" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This one has a hard case and a stop valve on the line, so im thinking this one
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Monster-H...item3cad1dc43c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Then this one for $160???
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PROJECTA-AIR-...item4aa33f320b" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thanks Pep

Re: 150l/min 12v compressors on ebay

Rims flipped from $50
Re: 150l/min 12v compressors on ebay
I got one off ebay & it works a treat. Will pump up 4 33's from 18psi to 35psi in 8 minutes. It cost $81 + $19 delivery. I got rid of the very ordinary fuse & run it through a 50 amp circuit breaker.
Moved from Cairns to Victoria & still trying to work out WHY
Re: 150l/min 12v compressors on ebay
I have two of these linked together and works well..
In the pic's they are the same, i went the cheaper $100 ones and with two linked together they are super fast.
Although the duty cycle is very low (20%) i can pump 4 35's from 10psi to 34psi without it cutting out (on the one compressor).
For the price i think they are good.

Re: 150l/min 12v compressors on ebay
Found this at Trade tools for $328 previously and finally picked it up today. Not sure how it will perform longer term but a quick test this arvo. It pumped up a 33x10.5r15 JT2 up from 10psi to 34psi in approximately a minute and a half. its model number is dc12-112 so assume its about 115l/min (~4CFM). Requires oiling and I need to check if it has a pressure switch or not.
Longer term i will look at remounting it under the body attached to the sliders somehow..
interested to hear if anyone has any feedback on these air compressors, havent seen much about them but figured it would be better $/ltr per min than the arb high output portable unit. (RRP $350)

Re: 150l/min 12v compressors on ebay
I bought the ebay twin cylinder version in a plastic case for about $90 delivered. Pumps up my 9.00x16 (narrow 35") in 5 minutes - that is flat to 35psi. Was`just warm and did not cut out at all.

Re: 150l/min 12v compressors on ebay
I also have one of the 12 volt (112ltrs per min) compressors from Tradetools.
Had it for about 3-4 months, works awesome.
Plently of air to pump up mine & my mates tyres (32" and 33") and run a rattle gun.
Pressure cut out is at about 140psi and turns back on at around 100psi.
It can be regulated through the dial on the front.
Works well between 11 and 15.25 volts.
Seems to be "happiest" with anything over 12.5volts.
FYI, you can also get a 24volt model.
