As in welded up or found other tanks to fit...

Problem is the regulation of fuel tanks and nee for engineering, even with a tank swap for a designed and registered tank.

Seems they're worried about leakage and fire.... go figure.

I've known a few people who have made their own tanks over the years. I've spotted some in the members section too.

There probably is a regulation for making tanks, but it's not rocket science. So long as your welding is decent and you know how a car tank is put together, it's not hard to make one. So go for it.
The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.
