want to swap my 45 onto a 40 chassy its cheap the cars onl;y an off road basher the chassis is a 1972 my 45 is a 1979 i know i will have to custom the body mounts but my main worry is the 40 chassis had a 1 f motor in it will my 2f and gear bopx bolt in or will that be a custom job 2

Relax...most of it will bolt straight up including almost all of the body. Check out some of the workshop manuals...they have full chassis diagrams with dimensions, etc.

cool yer i know whats body moutns i have to change was just a bit worryed about the motor with thr 1 f and 2 f

if and 2 f are almost identical except for oiling, cylinder head (i think) and maybe bore/stroke.

but engine mounts line up, gearboxes should bolt up.

think your bang on the money there B_R_au. 2F is just a revised F.

its only an offroad basher anyway. drill new holes for your gearbox crossmember if you have to. engine should line up.

cool i dont have a gear box x member comes off the bell housing to the chassis i think but thanks guys
