Rover Diff Pinion Shims Supplier Melb.

Post by clive2267 »

Hi,

Swapping my stock rover 3.54 CW&P for ashcroft 3.50 28/8 3.50 CW&P.
I haven't started yet and so don't know what shim change I will have to make, if any, I will have set the pinion height correct as well as
the correct drive/ gear pattern so am expecting a fair bit of install, check, review, change, reinstall pinion etc.,etc.

Don't want to pull it down and find there hard to get, as I 'borrow' a workshop on weekends and really can't leave the vehicle in there for weeks.

Does anyone know were you can buy these? i.e. someone with decent stocks or what O.D and I.D they are so can have some made if they are hard to get?
I have a list of LR part no's that I found.

Thanks

Clive

Clive, give ULR a try or Graeme at British car components. If you need a hand give me a PM as I would like to learn how to set up a gear set, I started one once made a mess of it and never tried again.
Michael.
out of my mind, back soon.
