What 35's ??
Different tyres measure differently.

No amount of lift will stop tyres rubbing, lowering your bumpstops will stop it.
I am running 35s on my GQ with 4 inch lift and its an over kill.

Shouldnt rub mate.
But that said, lowering bump stops or slightly trimming guards will clear all areas.
Also if you run narrow cheese cutters that will not help.

Running skinnier tyres will mean
less scrubbing than fatter tyres, as the turning arc/sweep will be reduced - this is part of the reason i run 35x10.5's.
As said though, getting the right offset rim and tyre width in the first place is key.

Rear sway bar makes a big difference.
I have minimal rubbing with 35/10.5s on patrol offset rims

Short answer - Yes they will rub.
Unless you have no flex. I have 5" suspension lift and 33x12.5" on 15x8" rims and 45mm offset, rubbed when flexed up.
The main rubbing was inside the rear wheel arches (just above chassis rails) and possibly the front mud flaps, cant remember.
I also have drop boxes, no sway bars and rear bumpstops to stop rubbing.

to many variables to say how bad and where it will rub.
but, 5" lift i plenty to make 35" tyres "work". u may need to play around with trimming some body bits, modify bump stops etc etc, but 5" lift will be fine.
