power feed for 1.6 efi and auto into sierra

hey guys quicky, putting a 1.6 efi and 4spd auto (g16a, 4spd auto model 0372le) into the sierra buggy, the sparky doin the wiring harness has mentioned i will need a feed for the speedo for the auto to function correctly, problem is im not running a speedo or sierra dash, is there a simple way to overcome this?
