Aircon in a 94 sierra

Post by CV Smasher »

My sister has a Sierra that she loves so much she can't bare to part with it, the only problem is that it doesn't have aircon.

It is near impossible to find a model with ac from the wreckers so I am wondering if anyone has fitted ac to a Sierra from another vehicle?
If so what did u use and was it a difficult job?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

The sierra aircon is a rare breed. It is avaliable, but can be an expensive option. Came in soft and hardtops. Alot of years. I know of a 84' drover with aircon..

With my new lwb. I think i might be trying to adapt the jimny setup. If possible.. :?

if you can find the under dash bits it should be possible to use
aftermarket bits for the rest.

if you get back to me in December i might have a couple of factory
kits for sale.

Thanks guys, turns out it wasn't that hard to find a Sierra one after all. We managed to pick one up today.
