I have bought a CKMA12 and i want to fit it under my seat.
However the HUGE wiring loom supplied that comes equipped to cater for 2 lockers is bulky and i dont want to fit ARB lockers.
All i want is to fit the compressor with pressure switch and an outlet to my air tank.
How do i wire it in with the pressure switch so it cuts in and out.

Re: ARB Compressor wiring
What is the problem with using the loom as supplied? It may be huge, but that means it will carry the necessary current to the compressor (about 30 amps if you have bought the full sized compressor = about the equivalent of 4 x 100 watt globes of current). If it's been pre-wired the right way, with good instructions you can understand, and labels on all the wires, then use it.
George Carlin, an American Comedian said; "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise that half of them are stupider than that".
Re: ARB Compressor wiring
I have heaps of 30-40A wiring and fuses/holders to suit.
There is plugs and bits hanging off it everywhere and its designed to have the compressor reside under the bonnet, where i dont want it.
So rather than modify it and then still have all the bits hanging everywhere that i will never need, i just need to know how to wire the compressor up with the correct wire and make the pressure switch work.
Thats why.
