Great to hear. The base rules for this event as stated before "as it comes out of the showroom" is what you race. Rules & guidelines will be up before Christmas. I am really looking forward to this new sport.

Roll on Razor Racing.

Thanks for your reply so looking forward to hearing more and more on this new sport .

Will the different sxs be racing against each other in an open class or on a handicap type scoreing system eg ; rzr vs rzr 's' vs can am etc

And any links to where I can find the 2011 events calendar

As an ex national offroad competitor in class 4 (highly modified sedans) im aware of the breadth of race locations a need to plan ahead for travel times is needed at the eariest time possible

as hard as it is to wait  wil be waiting for more infomation cheers Dave

Finale dates will be up when I get back from Thailand.

The Razor Racing Series will only have one Class (this may change when we have a possible field with each group) It is pointless running a Class with one or two vehicles. You also might find that only the RZR's will be coming into Australia in the future.

Round 2 will be in Rocky in late June, while Round 3 will be in Tamworth area in September/ October. There may also be a Teams event & GPS event during the year as well, more on this later.

If it was to be in Rocky the long weekend would be good for NSW teams to have an extra public Holiday for the drive.

2011 Rules will be finished after Christmas, no real changes at the moment.

I will also have the "Razor Series" rules available at the same time.

The Springs is an awesome park, and for $50 for the week end wow! I don't get to these comps much (Usually to far to travel or lack of funds but I think this is the perfect opportunity for us to get away for this weekend and watch a Winch challenge event and how interesting it is..

I thought it was scheduled for the 25 26 27 th of February ( not January that would have made it flood affected ) which is still 7 weeks away , so why the change in dates ?

Just because you may not have been affected (which I hope) by these floods that are still to peak at this present time, I have decided in the best interest to all parties concerned to give everyone a chance who may have been affected by these major floods to have some extra time to get prepared for this event, regardless as a competitor or a spectator.

To late now for the Gold Coast to change their show.

Brisbane 4WD Show is early April.

Not everyone will go to the show and some may even come to ARB XWC Round 1.
