Rear Springs 91 Hilux

Hello fellow Outerlimitans,

Just thought I would throw out a question everyone has seen before.. Current set up in my hilux is high steer with custom rear spring pack up front 2inch lift with 2 inch shackles and drop member..

was wondering what you people have used as a set up for the rear, cause mine is completely crap!! It has shackles which are dead straight and 2 inch lift standard springs..

I know about running IFS rear, just wondering which type i would need, ive heard space cab IFS rears are longer??

Also would I need 2 inch lifted IFS rears cause my front has 2 inch lifted, it all is getting abit confusing for me..

any help would be greatly appreciated

If you want to do a search, then you will find all the info you need.
But Ill post up what I know.....

I got my IFS rear springs from an 03 dual cab, I cant remember exactly how much longer they are then my stock rear, about 100mm I think.

The perfect length for rear shackles when doing IFS rears, is 200mm eye to eye, use this size and you will have a good shackle angle, and the hangers wont need to be moved.

Im not sure about running 2inch lifted IFS rears though.

Id be asking some of the Lux gurus on here.

im running 2 inch ifs rears in my lux... they are from a 97 model lux... not sure on the brand... these were given to me but you can do it... i know a few lux's that have 3 inch ifs rear on the back of a live axel lux
