80 series kaymar rear wheel carrier.

Post by nic80 »

Hi guys

I recently purchase a second hand Kayman rear wheel carrier for my 80 series.
All the nuts bolts and brackets were just thrown in a box when I picked it up.

After an hour of scratching my head... Couldn't figure out how the hell it all works.
Has anyone got instructions or has posted a thread on how to fit this bloody thing?

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks

There is a bracket (with welded nuts) with a long skinny steel bit on it. That slides into the inside of your chassi. The long bit is to line it up and hold it in place. The other bracket sits on the outside of your chassi. Locate and drill 2 holes in your plastic bumper down from top. 2 big long curved plates bolts into the 2 top and 2 bottom holes. Its not that hard. It seems like you got a box extra's aswell.

Cheers
