Who can Mandrel bend in far north qld

Hi i am looking to get a 3 inch stainless snorkel made up and i want it mandrel bent to make sure that it is totally waterproof i was wondering if anyone knows of anyone in the cairns mareeba region that can mandrel bend it 3 inch od 304 stainless pipe, i have the pipe and will pay per bend

Not too many exhaust shops can mandrel bend, they can press bend though but it reduces the internal dimensions of the tubing which is defeating the purpose.

since mandrel bending is out can anyone tell me if i can get a stainless bend between say 110 to 130degrees to match the windscreen or even black rubber bends of that angle

you can buy tight 90 degree bends in stainless so you could get two of them weld them together and cop to whichever angle you desire. you should be able to get the weld 100% waterproof

I would imagine a mandrel bender for 3" would be in the 100's of 1000's of $
Its not just a bender - it has an insert inside the pipe whilst bending

Truck spare places will prob have the rubber bends you need.

You just need to buy a few mandrel bent 90o elbows, cut them down to get the angle you need then weld them in. That is what everyone else does.
