Hi Guys.
As some of you may know, I am heading to China for the Strange Vehicle Games (similar to Full Metal Challenge).
We have been donated a Pathfinder however it has no engine. We are urgently seeking a V8 (dosn't matter what sort) with Gearbox and trnasfercase to suit the Pathfinder. As the front diff is on the passenger side, this is becomming quite a task.
Also, is is possible to take the diff apart and turn the insides around so the will sit on the drivers side?????
Any help will be much appreciated as we were really hoping to put the engine this weekend and I am starting to stress out a bit.

Which Pathfinder do you have, the 95-back WD21 body-on-frame type, or the 96-on R50 unibody?
No way to re-work the diff to a right-side setup, at least without throwing a rediculous amount of money at it. If you have a WD21 you would be far better off tearing the whole front diff and suspension out of there and putting a solid axle with a left offset like a Dana 44 from a Ford, Jeep, etc. in place instead. Don't forget it's tough to match the OEM Nissan gear ratios if you go that route, you might have to re-gear the rear to match the new front.
I do know of one D21 truck that was running a driveshaft from a left-output transfer to a right-offset solid axle, and it was good for highway speeds. Pic here:

There are adapters available to mate a TH350 or 700R4 transmission to the TX10 transfer case you have, but they're US $720 and would have to be shipped from the USA.

I think you're not going to make this work, at least not in time...

In search of an MQ (offset) H233b rear, housing only preferred, plus a complete GQ or GU front (4.6 ratio ideal) to be shipped to the US. Cheap! Email/PM if you can help.

I know that, where's the confusion?
Though now that I think about it more, if the fact that's it's on the left is the problem and your t-case options are right-offset, you'd want to swap a right-offset solid front axle and they're practically a dime a dozen. The left-offset one would be needed if you still have and intend to keep the factory transfer case, but if a V8 is going in then the tranny and t-case are almost certainly getting swapped along with it.
Either way, a solid axle is really your only option if you are planning to use a right-offset transfer case. You can't really do a right-to-left driveshaft setup to the IFS diff, it's tucked up and the transmission and engine would be in the way of the shaft. It's only possible with a solid axle that's pretty far below the chassis, and very rare at that.
