New Classes for Xtreme Winch Challenge - Unreg & Buggies

Post by XTREME MMM »

I am pleased to announce that the Classes for XWC in 2011 will be:-

Xtreme Open
Xtreme Production
Xtreme Razor (Polaris & similar this will run seperate from the larger 4wd's)
Xtreme Open Unregistered (50 point handicap and must comply with the Xtreme Open Rules & Guidelines, (except for rego) if they don't comply they will then be in the Xtreme Buggy Class)
Xtreme Buggy (Tyres size as per Xtreme Open, must be 2 seats or the codriver is going to have to run along way. This Class is not elegiable for outright awards etc 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Stage wins)
Xtreme Open unregistered & Xtreme Buggy vehicles must be presented to myself for Class & safety inspection prior to event. Please call for inspection time.

After 10 plus years I will also be rewarding SS wins & Stage Managers Awards with dollars or product (amount depends on enteries & sponsors). Also expect to see a bit more of the SS, this will happen where possible. And if this does the first 2 drivers/codrivers will preview the SS.

Any questions please contact me direct on 0418 745 830

Cheers

:D :D :D

More news:-

The Series will be conducted over 3 Rounds.

The best 2 will count and there will be a bonus of 200 points for doing the 3 Rounds.

This will cut down on the travel for some Teams, and you can afford to have a bad Round & still come somewhere in the Series.

There will also be sponsors prizes in 2011 for those that complete the 3 Rounds of the Series.

Cheers

Dave will these class’s being around for a couple of years or are you going to run them for 2011 only to judge popularity then decided?
the reason i ask this is that if some one builds a car for these classes it take longer then 2 months to build a completive car there for they will not be at the first round.
Good to see this happening

This is for 2011, then it will be up to entrants if they become part of the XWC past that, and Insurance is available for these Classes.
