Just wiring up my sierra with G16B conversion and wondering why two of the 3 wires from the MAF sensor go to earth (on the wiring diagram, Black and Blue-w-Black trace) albeit one splices of to the computer (Bl/B) before it goes to the same earth point. Why is this? Can I just splice the two at the MAF plug then to earth?
AND if anyone feels like it. Exactly what type of signal does the MAF give the computer?
