Alloy beadlocks
Hey folks, it's been a while.
I'm after peoples opinions on alloy beadlock wheels.
I'm strongly considering getting some Rock Monster double beadlocks but they're very pricey and back spacing isn't ideal.
Obviously the Walker Evans are a good option and i've also been looking at these new Allied Savvana beadlocks, but they're new on the scene and i can't find any 1st hand feedback.
What other options are available for Patrols?
Any feedback is welcome.
cheers Jason

Yeah i researched them a bit.
Is someone selling them in Aus yet or did you bring em in?
Are they very heavy?
What did you put them on, a Patrol?
Can you get em with a low profile lock ring?
What's their load rating?
Re: Alloy beadlocks
na mate got them im pretty sure all the info is on the website.

Is anyone using the Rock Monster beadlocks?
Re: Alloy beadlocks
Procomp also do an alloy beadlock to suit Patrol, i believe they are strong
My friends aren't holding me back..... I'm pulling 'em forward.

Have you got any info on them mate?
I've had a good look but can't find anything.
All of Pro Comps wheels seem to have "simulated beadlocks" or "beadlock styling"
Re: Alloy beadlocks
Why not just weld a set of alloy beadlocks onto a set of Alloy rims? That way you can get and make whatever style you want.
Re: Alloy beadlocks
Trail Ready is another option
Or get some good quality rims converted, below are Mickey Thompsons that have been converted.

I'm not sure if thats a very economical option (unless you already have the wheels , and are set up to TIG)?
Those Allied wheels can be had for $390 each

Re: Alloy beadlocks
Yeah i've seen the KMC Enduros, i can get them over here through RaceGear WA.
Did you put em on a Patrol?
The back spacing was no good for me though, 4.75" on a 8.5" rim.

Yeah they're the wheels that i've been asking if anyone has used them in Australia yet.
Re: Alloy beadlocks
I run the new Allied locks Can't seem to fault them for the price. I have only driven on them for 6 days of wheeling thoe. They arn't super light caus they are fairly thick
I got them only a few days after they landed in Aus, I don't know how many they brought in.

Re: Alloy beadlocks
I agree, they look crap in the advertisement. Like there other wheels but on Rhetts they aren't too bad. Think they are rated at 2700lbs. Don't do a 8 bolt so no good to me.

For the Hutchinson wheels have a talk to Proformance over here in WA.
I'm going for the Allied.
Thanks for your input fellas
Re: Alloy beadlocks
looked into the hutchinsons a little more and it seems they are made for toyotas specifically and the centre bore is too small for gq diffs .
cant cbf getting them machined out .
