I did a search but couldn't find the info i needed
Ive got a 94DC lux with a commo V6 and auto, im looking at doing a 1inch body lift to help stop my front wheels from hitting the body under flex
i know that with a manual on a 2inch lift you need to play around with the shifter so it can still find gears
What i would like to know is will i have to do anything to myn seeing as im only going 1inch and its a auto
Cheers Jason

Re: body lifts
another quick one, would it be easier just to use 1inch lift blocks the go under the leaf and on top of the diff ??
Also what do you guys think is better the body lift or the lift blocks ??

Re: body lifts
Body lift is easy to do.
You may need to trim around trans case stick after its done.
There is info here about fitting body lifts. Im sure there was a thread on this last week.

Re: body lifts
if the shift is on the tunnel you might have to extent the shifter rod just go 2 inch more common

Re: body lifts
what you need to do is decide on your body lift size, get the bits (blocks and bolts) then do the lift as it were a manual but pay special attention to your shifter etc and if it needs to be modified and or cut etc then do it. it is really not that hard and as i have said before, by the time you get an answer on here you could have done t yourself and found out for yourself and had it all sorted. and even if you do get an answer your car may be different with the model of auto and or shifter, positioning etc etc etc list goes on. have a go and find out.
alternativeley you could re position your diff forward 25mm. allows better clearance than body lift and plenty of info on here how to do.
or what could be the easiest option would be to extend your bump stops the required ammount, this will also allow you to fit longer shocks and gain travel.
