Post by toylux94 »

i have recently bought a 94 hilux ln106r and i am looking at buying micky thompson 33x12.5R15 with new sunraisher rims from kings, they said the maximum offset i could have was 26mm negative, what is the standerd offset and how far past the guards will the tyres sit.

I run a -22 offset on me 93 Lux 15 x 8 rims. I thinks these are what they call cruiser offset. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

32x11.5x15 fit the 15x8 rims fine. Hilux's don't come with flares, so i got ARB fiberglass flares, which look like surf flares, and the tyres don't stick past these.

I have a set of Kings Sunnys rims, in 15x8, and neg22 offset. I have some 33x12.5x15 Swampers on them for playtime.
They dont sit out too far.
I also run 35x12.5 Claws as dailys, and they aret too bad either.
If you have too much sitting outside the guards, you could always buy some rubber garden edging from Bunnings and make up some DIY flares.
Or you could make up some Ghetto Fab flares like I did, out of an old real estate sign.
The tyres are covered so no probs yet.
