common rails suffer big problems with poor fuel. add an extra fuel filter to help get rid of the water. a lot of people have been using 2 stroke oil mixed in with the diesel. seams to help a lot with injector life span.

fuel quality is an issue. Stick to big bp or shell stations and avoid biodiesel unless nissan say it's ok.

as said by tweake, its more the poor quality fuel than the vehicle.

A mate with a V8 diesel Toyota ute recently had the injectors replaced. A common issue.
