OK, lets talk battery trays (eye candy inc.)

Post by djroberts »

So, ive been pulling the 80 apart for a 6L conversion. I have encountered a battery mounting issue:

-> Due to the mounting of a second compressor (shown below) i need to relocate the battery on drivers side to the passenger .. does anybody do a dual tray for the 80 like they do for the 70? I have a 3f 80 battery tray too but that is no good. Can someone put me out of my misery .. ? Do i have to make one?

It's not a recent photo btw.

1FZ-FE, 1HZ, 1HD-T/FT all have the battery on the passengers side, just a battery tray for one of them. Someone will buy your battery tray for dual setup on one of the other fitments.
