engineers cert for jimny

is there a need for me to get an engineers cert for a jimny with 235/75/15 tyres on it (29") and a 3" suspension lift. Im in Victoria.
if so does any one know of a good engineer i could work with in victoria?

Jump on over to the Victorian Suzuki 4WD Club... they will know.
I have mine eng' certed on 235's with a 50 + 50 lift in NSW. Do make sure you get a steering dampner fitted, they tend to wander badly once you lift them - bump steer is a big issue

Technically yes, but you won't get those tyres certed on a jimny I'm afraid in Vic* - they are more than 50mm bigger than the largest tyre available for the car.
*It might be possible, but the amount of work you'd have to do isn't worth it. You would need to prove that every engineering parameter on the axles and brakes matches a vehicle with 27" or larger tyres - like the new GV.
...But as you are only need to swap a set of stock springs and tyres back on - a couple of hours work, tops - to pass a RWC, I don't think I'd bother.
