As above I have a T3500 Mazda truck 3.5L 4cy . Have just rebuilt the engine, and following a bad idea of putting a ebay turbo on it Im keen for a smaller turbo. So my question is, what size turbo?? Seems to be hard question even for MTQ.
I would like boost of 8-12psi by 2000 Rpm, keep in mind the cruze eng speed is around 3200rpm.
Anyone that can give me any info would be appreciated, or even a good used turbo for sale!!!
Many thanks Sterlo

Bit off topic 3.5l Turbo
Re: Bit off topic 3.5l Turbo
T25 with a 0.49 A/R exhaust housing will do that fine. CA18DET nissan is a donor for these.

many thanks gives me a starting point

Oh wait a minute.
I misread 3200rpm as the max, but you're looking at cruising at 3200rpm for significant time. I'll change that recommendation to the T25 with 0.64 A/R exhaust housing used on the SR20DET nissans, this one has a slightly larger compressor wheel and bigger exhaust housing. It won't be quite as responsive down low as the smaller T25 but it'll be a lot happier at 3200rpm.
