Hi guys just having drama's trying to find specs and or pics on internal roll cages for gq dual cab. Currently want to start competing and I need a minimum of 6 point roll cage internal or external with 4 point racing harness. So need help deciding on whether to go internal or external with an internal taxi bar?

So I have tried searching and can find schematic pics of a full body rig and a single cab ute but no dual cab. It needs to be either cams or ccda approved. I have all the tube and tooling to do the cage just want to do it right the first time.

Also does a cage need to be TIG or MIG welded to the floor plates? Any pics and advice would be greatly appreciated disclose number plates if concerned of DOT. As some people freak out about undercover DOT employees.

Also having no luck with previous links to ccda website so I have search but have had no luck

Thanks in advance guys

Regards
Brooksy

i dont know where you can find pictures or dimensions but on the arb xtreme winch challenge site has specifications on the welds and mounting plates. As for internal or external, i would lean towrds internal fully registerable in all states then

got a 6point in my dual cab. the main crusafix (cross frame stregnth) is behind the back seats. I have a second crusafix behind the front seats that the harnesess go over the sholder height cross (as per specs) I have made the centre crusafix removable, so the car has 2 crusafixes 1 non removable & a second removable for when I have people on the back seat.
The truck will be on display & taking spectators on hot laps at the Briz 4X4 Show in april wiz in & have a look,
or come into TJM Coopers Plains (briz) as it lives there.
