Does anyone know how to disconnect the beeper on the late model ford rangers have if you open the door and leave the key in ignition, its a bloody joke, want to disconnect it for my old boys shitbox

yeah alot of people know how to disconect it... its a very simple job im sure given enough time you might even be able to work it out.

if you pull the key out slightly but still in the igniton the beep will stop

Easy mate. You just remove the cowl on top of the steering column and disconnect the white (I think) plug with two wires connected to it above the ignition barrel. 5 minute job.
