Outer Limits 4x4 Board

G'day all, about to change the rear drums on my HJ 47 troopy to the 60/75 handbrake and I have a 78 series handbrake cable, which appears to be too short, I have been told a 79 series cable is long enough, but I'd have thought they'd both be the same length? Anyone out there definitely know if they are the same or different?

tHe 79 chassis Is longer than the troopy chassis , I did read on a post some were once a bloke put a 79 series handbrake cable in his 78 series , the extra length helped with the big lift
