My Tuff Truck Build (series one landy)

Hey Guys here is my Build for Tuff Truck 2011

Specs
Landrover series one Chassis and Body,
5.7 L injected 350 chev (LT1)
T700 Auto
Atlas 2 Transfer
4 Wheel Steer Dana 60s
40" Maxxis Treapador stickies
17" alloy Beadlocked rims
14" airshocks
A Frame front suspension
Triangulated 4 Link Rear
Custom external rollcage


Here are a few pics of how she sits at the moment.... still a few little bits and peices to do before Tuff Truck

What wheelbase?

What colour are you going to paint it? (I think lime green would look awesome for some reason...)

the wheelbase is 107 inches, and yeah approach and departure angles are pretty wicked!! it will be going oldschool landcrover green and silver barwork!

you have done a top job on that will be looking fwd to wheeling with it soon
looking at atlas tc where did you get yours,would like to look at your front A frame as its our plan to do the same in my truck and grover's rangie

wil be watching out for the green at TTC

It has turned out good, just looks like you have all the fun small things left to do & glad it didn't turn out bad with the test run, could have been a nightmare so close to TTC.

i think painting it will be a huge mistake. As it is it looks really cool. It is a pity the doors are not the same old faded paint as the rest of the body though. Just paint the welds with some primer and leave it as is. Sort of like a rat rod crawler. Having said that it is your car so do whatever you want with it. Car looks great and good luck at TT

I agree with the others on leaving the paint as is... that thing looks awesome as is, like it's already been through three or four wars and survived.

100% awesome truck ,best of luck a ttc i will be rooting for team xtc.i think a flat green paint job would look good with silver hammer-tone on the bar work ;)

finished awesome custom trailing arms finished setting up rear diff ,waiting for a part from ARB ,because i took the arb out of a rear diff and putting it into a 80 series high pinion the locking nuts where smaller so waiting for the bigger one to arrive from melbourne(china)

then its a matter of rolling the diffs under ,and do the final part of the cage for the fox airs shoxs and done , i am hoping first trip will be at scenic may comp weekend so 2 weeks
