Do you guys think aftermarket DRLs (the LED type) are worth it?
As runnings with lights on during the day does seem to increase your visibility to other drivers do you think it's worth buying ebay DRLs?
I've read on the interweb (so it must be true) that DRLs must turn off when you turn your low beams on though.
Will it look wanky?

do you think your driving an audi or something?
I thinking of gettting something similar as well as led strips for rock lights, but instead of DRL, ill just run them for night runs on the trail.

Re: Aftermarket Daytime Runnings Lights
As of mid 2011 all new vehicles in Europe must have DRL's from factory.
Might be a few years yet before it becomes an ADR that all new vehicles in this country must have DRL's.
Buy some chinese ebay ones for $20...
They are still supposed to be E4 marked though to be fully ADR compliant and legal.
Or just make your own out of a few high bright white LED's...

Re: Aftermarket Daytime Runnings Lights
So they'll look wanky but I gather they will increase safety/visibility which is more important.
Hmmmm... might have another project for the Easter break.

It will in fact look so wanky, that people should be forgiven for thinking that you, in fact, have 2 cawks...'cause you couldn't be THAT wanky with only one..TheOtherLeft wrote:Will it look wanky?
