TD42T and TD42 (NA) oil pumps

Post by moddedgu »

Hi,
Can anyone who has knowledge of the TD42T and TD42 (NA) motor be able to tell me if the TD42T oil pump will bolt up to a GQ TD42 (NA) bottom end?

I need to find out this as I am currently building my motor and want to run the TD42T oi pump on it but short motor is GQ based.

Also what is the difference between the 2 oil pumps??

Thank you in advance.

I have and they have different numbers! Want to know what the difference is though? They (Nissan) won't/don't know any specs on them.

Why would they know the specs anyway? They are a dealer, not a performance shop. They only replace parts with the same part number as originally fitted so no need to know the specs.
