GQ/GU Wheel hub
GQ/GU Wheel hub
Geday i had a front wheel come loose on a gu and floged out the wheel hub.Are gq hubs the same as gu or do i need a gu hub. Thanks Yarny

Re: GQ/GU Wheel hub
I assume manual hubs ??
Re: GQ/GU Wheel hub
Need more info on what part or parts exactly that are flogged out. Some are interchangable and others aren't.
Knuckles are different sizes
Brake discs are I believe the same in most cases unless a 4.8 GU
locking hubs are the same
brake calipers are different
I think thats about it. Hope that helps and if I'm not quite right I'm sure there'll be someone to correct it.
Cheers

Re: GQ/GU Wheel hub
Thanks for the replys. The part i mean is the hub that the wheel bolts to and the disc and wheelbearings go in.I pulled it down and found the gu disc has a difrent offset and center hole. But you can bolt a gu disc to a gq hub to get you out of trouble ,i have but i will change back when i get the right parts.
