I am replacing my unis (75 series) and i am having issues.
I have taken the clip off the inside of the uni and sprayed with WD-40 to loosen it all up, but nothing......not even the slightest bit of movement when i give it a wack with a BFH and i have given it an almighty wack.
Am i missing something, i have never had this issue on other unis i have replaced
Apart from using a press, is the anything else anyone can recommend?

Re: Uni Joint Issue
do u have a vise? Use that as a press.
Failing that a few hits on the top of the uni ear to open up the bore, Dont go too far!

First there are 4 Circlips to remove.
Use a big hammer and keep pounding it on either the uni OR the ears.( use socket)
Sometimes they are stubborn but budge in the end.
You are just not hitting hard enough.
