100 series drive line problem
Hi I have recently bought a 98 100 petrol auto and have noticed some movement under the car feels like the diff is moving back and forward a bit checked all the bushes and mounts and all looked good. When in 4 wheel drive doesn't seem to do it has anyone had this happen to them if so what was it I'm not sure if it is the centre diff or transfer case any info would be great
Re: 100 series drive line problem
The driveline slop is common. Goes away with the centre diff locked as the slop is usually in the front diff and/or axle splines and not the transfer as some believe.

It can be fixed, but it won't be cheap.

The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.
