Gday all,
im in a bit of hot water, after buying a set of 37" Wrangler MTR tyres, i have brought them to DAPCO to be told that they cant be fitted as they were not sealing due to tears in a majority of the bead which cam from when they were taken off.
Is it possible to fit tubes to these or get a earthmover/truck repair place to fix the beads?

I heard tubes were illegal?
Id be going back to the place where they were taken off and demanding them to be fixed or replaced.
Where did you buy them from?

i bought them off a member off the forum , he got them taken off and there are giant chunks missing off the bead, i would thought tubes would solve this, they are for my play car not daily driver

Don't make statements you can't back up with FACTS.

Tubes. Tubes aren't illegal.
I own lots of tyres with bead damage from removal/refitting. Not sure I've seen any so bad I couldn't get the beads to seat though.
It's tubes or the bin I'm afraid.

Dont forget good old Sikaflex
I have had chunks broken out of beads from R&R of tyres. a bit of Sika flex before reseating the tyre and all good

honestly it mustn't have been a very good tyre shop and/or the balancer was a piece of crap if you had trouble balancing a tyre with a tube in it. Balancing a tyre with a major repair is harder than balancing one with a tube.
btw how did you go balancing split rims?
to the OP put some photos up so we can see how bad the beads are.
