QG tb42 airbox

Post by LethalLeigh »

Just bought a GQ Ti with the 4.2 efi. its got dual fuel and at some stage it looks like the gas has backfired and blown the airbox apart.
had alot of trouble finding a good one to replace it, was thinking of taking it to a alluminum place to see if they will copy it or even make it bigger to
suite a gen 3 filter... any ideas on the matter would be appreciated

Non std air box for you to make fit in anything you like.
In this case they fit into the engine bay of a GQ/GU pretty well.

Oh ok cool, do you know if you can still hook up the original hoses to it.
On the factory air box there is a little plastic fitting that you attached to a rubber hose it has to do with the vacuum system I think. It also goes to a sensor which tells you if the air filter is clogged up.
