Just bought a GQ Ti with the 4.2 efi. its got dual fuel and at some stage it looks like the gas has backfired and blown the airbox apart.
had alot of trouble finding a good one to replace it, was thinking of taking it to a alluminum place to see if they will copy it or even make it bigger to
suite a gen 3 filter... any ideas on the matter would be appreciated

In this case they fit into the engine bay of a GQ/GU pretty well.

Oh ok cool, do you know if you can still hook up the original hoses to it.
On the factory air box there is a little plastic fitting that you attached to a rubber hose it has to do with the vacuum system I think. It also goes to a sensor which tells you if the air filter is clogged up.
