strange noise
Moderator: -Scott-
the noise is only when truck is cold
put it in gear accelerate away depress clutch to change gears and it then makes the noise its like the last few revs after you depress the clutch
weird thing is it is an intermediate problem maybe 3 days out of 10 and sometimes its in the morning and others its the evening
hope that helps a little more
ohh and it only happens on the 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 shift

Hey, ours makes this exact same noise. When I see a ricer, I try to replicate their BOV, they look at you funny For all they know Im driving a turbo Pajero
My guess is that when the TB closes quickly, the additional chambers of the airbox create the noise. They all of a sudden get a big mouthful of air which has nowhere to go and resonate that noise, But thats just a stab in the dark...
Its highly unlikely that its doing damage to anything on the vehicle... If people ask what the noise is, just tell them its fulli sik
