REPLACING DOOR HINGES - LN65 (late 83 to early 88 model)

Post by Tassie Trent »

Hi All, I have a late 1984 LN65 Hilux. The drivers side door hinges are getting very worn. I have searched the internet over & over but cannot find the info that I am after. Will early hilux hinges pre 83 fit or post 88 fit as you cannot buy new hinges for LN65 models anymore according to Co-Op Toyota Spare Parts here in Hobart - Tasmania. I have heard all model hiluxs run the same hinges from the early ones to the mid 90s ? Is this true ? Any help would be appriciated. By the way my hinges ar far to worn to rebush as are most of this age. Cheers. Trent.

Yea mate I'd assume because they didnt really change the body or doors much through that time you'd be right getting some newer model second hand ones, and they dont usually wear out that bad so should be right with second hand anyway.
