Thanks Mr dj, i had a closer look at the abt gaurds and bonnet but i think they look terrible, it already has the factory flares and the ar the same as the FRP ones so no gain there.

The tyres are 60mm outside the factory flares, im running neg13mm 17x8's and 37x12.5 tyres.

how would i go if i was to do the good old garden edging flares on the flares i have then fibreglass them and shape them like bushwackers ?

post 1993 (when they went to 15 inch alloy wheel) sr5 runners/surfs all had factory fibreglass flares. Maybe these with some garden edging might get the job done cheap?

Good idea, the fibregass factory flares will cover about 50mm.
Mine just cover 12.5" wide rubber on std patrol offset 8" rim with road rubber, dosen't quite cover the 12.5" wide off-road rubber completely as the lugs stick out.

At a guess you will need around 60-70mm of extra coverage as well as the fibreglass flares.

Your lucky they will let you get a roady with 37's
