New Ignition Barrel and Switch - Help!

Hi Guys,

Just got a new Ignition Switch and Barrel... Is there anything special I need to watch when fitting this tonight? I dont want to break anything and cause more problems ;)

Is it common for the ignition switch to eventually get the plastic connector worn out so that when you turn the key it simply rotates inside the switch? Just curious!
