Turbo help with id, and where to get the v-band clip.

Post by Reddo »

Good morning guys.

My problem is identifying the right type of v-clamp band for this garret.

the actual turbo dimensions are,

front housing - A/R 50 (also has M12 stamped on the front)

with a rear housing of - A/R 82 (also has M56 Stamped on the rear)

pictures of the following;

The actual v-band clamp has;
Voss ind.inc cleve .o. Stanped onto it,
and it has the part number
4221c-309-sb
it also has 8 - 01

My question is, where can i get a new original v- band clip from, as the clamp needs replacing, and the type of turbo we are dealing with.

Thanks for you help guys. I appriciate it.

Truck part suppliers have solved this sort of problem for me in the past as V bands are common on trucks.
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.
