help need new 11x1 pitch nuts for an 80

Post by howsie »

So these nuts are from the transfer end if the driveshaft. Apart from Toyota can anyone recommend anywhere to get these from. I have been to three bolt specialists and they say it isnt a common size and Toyota may be the inly place and as Toyota probably think 5 bucks a nut is a fair price was looking at alternatives.
93 RV, 5 in tough dog lift, dobinsons shocks and coils, PA, dual fuel, many many oil leaks and a ton of character.

I've found the same, Toyota seem to use fine thread pitch a lot which are rarely used in general engineering. I've been surprised a couple of times to find Toyota have had what I wanted on the shelf and at a reasonable price.
Sometimes its easier than chasing around to save a couple of $ for a few bolts

there is an engineering fasteners supplier a Kirawee i've had good success rate with in the past, bit of a drive from The Riff though
