1hz turbo

Post by 02HiLuX »

Have found a used turbo kit for my 1hz 100 series. It comes with turbo, manifold, dump pipe but none of the plumbing. What is the best material to use and how much extra cost am i up for to set it up? Cheers

be careful about turboing the 105series 1HZ, if its not done right, they tend to not like it

(I'm not anti turbo by the way, just hear lots about them dying after turboing)

Oil hoses Copland hoses and all fittings to suit should cost you about $$150. Does it come with any of the turbo piping?

Just don't try to run massive boost and massive fuel. Done expect it to be a rocket ship. Pump 13 or 14 PSI threw it and it'll last a while.

Till pretty easy tho. You use your standard cross over pipe. And just buy a few 90* bends and your done kinda

You can also get aluminium pipes and silicone bends cheap on eBay, search for turbo piping, find something suitable, cut the aluminium tube to get close, connect up with silicone bends or straight joiner and hose clamps
