Odometer Numbers?

My mate is thinking bout buying a rangie, and there is one he's looking at that is an 84 model with only 54 000 KM's on it.My question is, do the rangie's odometer go up to 99 999 or 999 999KM's?

depends on year some one else might help there but the earlyer 2 doors (the ones i have seen) on go 99 999 but you will never know how many times it has been round..
