there is no pin in the dash harness in the 3lt there is only 1 ecu feed you need to put the second pin in and conect it to the earth tacho feed on the glow plug timer contact you local nissan dealer and get a dash pin out for your model . U may need to put a td42 dash in it as im not sure if your dash is calibrated for the td42 feed voltage. When we did my brothers gu 2.8 to td42 thats how we did it but it will depend on how much of the td42 engine harness you are using

I ran some new wires in from the pickup and simply tapped into the correct pins in the dash plug. I had to fit a missing pin to one of them as it wasn't used on the 2.8.
I found a free pin from a sway bar disconnect light or something that wasn't been used and refitted that to the correct spot. sweet as.
