would not be that hard to bolt one on just need a adaptor plate or a new manifold with the right flange size I am guess it would be a t04 flange. but I think a t70 will be to big and will spool way to late

Been there done that!
They are too big on the exhaust side.
Mine had a .84 rear and didn't get any boost at all until 3000rpm with a 12mm pump on it.
Go with a custom one if you want something big. Off the shelf just doesn't do the job on TD42.

i had a t70 on my rb30 patrol, it had a .82 rear,a/r70 front.
it started to make postive pressure at about 3000rpm 3rd gear, full 10psi@ 4300rpm. made no boost in 1st (not enough load) it would hit rev limiter before it made boost. 2nd gear saw a little bit of pressure. 3rd gear full boost was over 100km/hr so it was rubbish!
gone back to a smaller turbo.
td42 has 1.2l more capacity, but still only revs to about 4k?
your better off with somthing with a .62 size rear, or there abouts.
givin that the stock td42 turbo is about as big as a coke can!
91 GQ lwb, 6"lift, 35's, RB30DET twin cam head efi turbo.
98 Nissan s1 stagea rb25det manual, sleeper family wagon!
