im thinking of doing a spring over conversion how much lift will i gain?
what other mods will i have to do as in tail shafts, high steer ect

Yep high steer, cut & rotate front knuckles to improve front pinion angle, obviously remove and replace spring mounts, WILL need a track bar for rear diff, extended brake lines, maybe tail shaft spacers, maybe reduce the spring packs, maybe shock mounts depending on what you want to do with the vehicle

If your handy enough everything can be done in a reasonable workshop. Check out the bible thread it has a good guide, i followed this and drove mine aa a daily driver for years and was pleased with it
