Comp Results

Post by ... rick »

Hey guys,

I'm not sure how many of you have heard the news or not, but I have recently started work on a new 4WD Magazine, Off-Road Addiction. I have allocated space in each issue to report on comp results from around the country, so if you would like to see your events results published, please send me the details of who/what/where and when - along with a couple of hi-res action pics and I will do my best to publish them all each month. This is a free service that was concocted with the view of fostering and growing the sport of competitive 4WDing.
Also, if you have an event coming up and you would like us to cover it in depth, let us know! Obviously we cant get to every single comp in the country, but we'd love to try! Send us your event details and we'll do our best to get there.
Thaks guys,

Rick O'Brien.

This, but good in depth tech. Not how to install fluffy dice and frangipani stickers. Even if its vehicle specific tech, I reckon I'd still read the tech article if it had nothing to do with my vehicle at all.

^^ As he said. Great idea with the comp section too.

Quality over quantity too Rick, I know you need advertising to pay for the mag somehow, but I'd rather read 60 pages of good original content than 220 pages of meh...

The new mag won't be out till the 4wd extreme issues finish up in April. Not too long off.

Nope its 100% Rick's mag but the name will be owned by 4wdA and they will print it. Rick has control of all the content of the mag and 4wdA will have no input.

i hope it is not a advertising catalog as we need a good Australian magazine dedicated
to 4x4 and offroading as even dirt comp is going wayward and is half filled with quad
bike rubbish now .

would be good to have a Australian magazine similar to Crawl as that is probably
the best 4x4 mag around .
