Driveline vibration/rattle 91 freoza

Post by low_rb »

Hey Guys,
Just got myself a 91 Feroza and overall its not to bad but one problem ive got noidea on.I did a search but nothing to realy confirm my problem.

Under deceleration and hard acceleration it has a small vibration/rattle, its most noticable under decel, normal to light acceleration its not there or verry light and it can be felt through the gear stick, cant feel it through the transfer selector though. Its not overelry lout but enough to be quite anoying.
THe previous owner said it was coming from the RHF wheel and he had to drive it around in 4H with the hubs unlocked for it to stop, ive tried both 2H and 4H and its the same havent tried with the hubs locked in yet as the fuseable link died and i have to replace that and redo some other stuff before i drive it anymore.

Cheers

The Ferozas make some noise on deceleration being the transfer chain. Check your unis and never engage you front hubs while on the road.
