I put this motor in my 89 dual cab about 4 years ago and everything has been pefect up until now. It has lost 70% power but only between 2ooorpm and 3000rpm. Ive changed AFM which made no diference (didnt have contact cleaner handy to clean original so just changed with a spare i have). Should i be leaning towards Throttle position sensor? Also sometimes when cold the problem doesnt exist and starts after a bout 5 min of driving.
