Diesel ECU's - Aftermarket Alternatives

Post by me3@neuralfibre.com »

I'm still toying with the idea of a 1HD-FTE into my 105.
But I don't want the loom hassles. Or the limited power from a 7x version.

Seems like the best solution is an aftermarket ECU. Plenty out there for Petrols.

Does anyone know of any versions for diesels?

I can find plenty of "piggyback" versions, but not much else.

There is a way to disable the immobiliser in the pump I believe - saw some details somewhere from a guy who got stuck out west.

Thanx
