I got a 2nd hand one from a truck wreckers years ago, as no one had a new one.
Maybe getting too old now.
Have you tried Repco etc?

Cheers guys, nah haven't tried any auto shops yet, just spent a few hours searching around the net, i'll be checking out repco, aussie auto ect on monday.
It's strange it's pretty easy to source the housing for F,2F,2H ect but nothing for the B motors

Thanks for the replies fellas, if you do have a spare, dont part with it!
Apparently they don't make them anymore, there's only 2 left in Aus so the bloke at Queensland Cruisers tells me. $140 for the bottom, $120 for the top.

Does it look like the one they list here for the 3B (W097)?

http://www.kcautoproducts.com/kcauto/in ... Itemid=119" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If so I think there is 1 left in Repco's Brisbane warehouse. Under $70 if it's there.

RAY185, It looks similar, but slightly different shape and looks to be different bolt pattern. Not sure why it says 3B engine, every search I do shows that part number is for a 2.4 surf/hilux

I've bitten the bullet and buying a new one from Queensland Cruisers (thanks hj 45)
