Hey all,
just bought the hand brake a late 92 swb jackaroo and noticed the rear coil was in two peices so i have ordered new EFS coils and shocks just wondering how to get the shocks off do i undo the mounting nuts before i put it up on the hoist or just do it when its up on the hoist. What is the easiest? also any tricks that will make the job easier

Re: replacing rear coils & shocks jackaroo
Pull the shocks off at the bottom before lifting on the hoist/jack the just lift body remove old springs, insert new springs (even 2in lifted ones go in easily like this) then as you are lowering it make sure the springs are located correctly...
Go hard or go home!!!

Re: replacing rear coils & shocks jackaroo
I reversed my old LWB Jack onto ramps to do the shocks, they are a piece of piss
to do coils I jacked up the whole lot and lowered the body on to jack stands letting the diff drop...I reckon I had to undo shocks and sway bar
